The daily operation specification of the magnetic pump

1. Up and running

Before starting, the sundries around the equipment that affect the safety of equipment and operators should be cleaned up.

Before driving, the pump should be filled with the liquid to be transported (if the pump is on suction), the inlet valve should be opened, the outlet gate valve should be closed, and the power supply should be connected.

Turn on the power and check whether the pump is turning correctly.

Test run the unit for 3-6 minutes, if there is no abnormal phenomenon, it can be put into operation.

When driving for the first time after long-term shutdown or pump maintenance, remove the fan cover of the motor and crank it manually to check whether the magnetic pump rotates flexibly, and install the fan cover after confirming that there is no problem.

2. Normal parking

The gate valve of the outlet should be closed first, and then the power supply should be cut off.

3. Emergency stop

Immediately stop the motor before closing the outlet and inlet valves.

Routine maintenance of magnetic pump

1. The ambient temperature of the pump during use should be less than 40°C, and the temperature of the motor should not exceed 75°C.

2. After the magnetic pump has been in normal operation for 1000 hours, the wear of the bearing and end face moving ring should be dismantled and inspected, and the wearing parts that are not suitable for reuse should be replaced.

3. Since the cooling and lubrication of the bearing of the magnetic pump depends on the conveyed medium, it is absolutely forbidden to run dry, and at the same time avoid running without load caused by restarting after a power failure in the middle of the work.

4. For the conveying liquid that is easy to precipitate and crystallize, it should be cleaned in time after use, and the fluid in the pump should be drained.

5. If the conveying medium contains solid particles, a filter should be added to the pump inlet; if it contains ferromagnetic particles, a magnetic filter should be added.

6. The conveyed medium and its temperature should be within the allowable range of pump materials. The operating temperature of engineering plastic pumps is less than 60°C, the operating temperature of metal pumps is less than 100°C, the conveying suction pressure is not greater than 0.2MPa, the maximum working pressure is 1.6MPa, the density is not greater than 1600Kg/m3, and the viscosity is not greater than 30X10-6m2/S. Liquid containing hard particles and fibers.

Daily maintenance and use of magnetic pump

1. Prevent particle entry

Ferromagnetic impurities and particles are not allowed to enter the magnetic pump drive and bearing friction pair.

After transporting the medium that is easy to crystallize or precipitate, it should be washed in time (after the pump is stopped, fill the pump chamber with clean water, and drain it after 1 minute of operation), so as to ensure the service life of the sliding bearing.

When transporting media containing solid particles, it should be filtered at the inlet of the pump flow pipe.

2. Prevent demagnetization

The torque of the magnetic pump cannot be designed too small.

It should be operated under the specified temperature conditions, and the temperature of the medium is strictly prohibited to exceed the standard. A platinum resistance temperature sensor can be installed on the outer surface of the isolation sleeve of the magnetic pump to detect the temperature rise in the annular gap area, so as to alarm or stop the machine when the temperature exceeds the limit.

3. Prevent dry friction

Idling is strictly prohibited.

It is strictly forbidden to evacuate the medium.

When the outlet valve is closed, the continuous running time of the pump shall not exceed 2 minutes to prevent the magnetic drive from overheating and failing.
